Ultrafine Alumina (UFA)

  • Ultrafine Alumina for boosting alumina percentage in Alumino-Silicate bodies (refractory brick shapes, castables, gunning material etc.)
  • Our Ultrafine Alumina (UFA) has alpha-Alumina content UPTO 99% and Na2O less than 0.40%. Fineness of 600 MESH 95%

Mullite Fines – 60% & 70%

This product has been designed with very specifically selected ingredients whose incorporation in any composition gives a much improved matrix categorized by

  • High resistance to corrosion by hot metal and slag
  • High resistance to thermal cycle and thus avoids formation of internal and external cracks which otherwise would have given lower strength
  • High resistance to abrasion during operation especially during metal pouring
  • Good volume stability

Pink Fused Alumina (PFA) Fines

  • This corundum fines have been specifically designed for improving the matrix of high-end-high-alumina compositions, especially materials with 80% and above 90% alumina compositions both in bricks as well as in monolithics
  • The suitably-crafted chrome oxide addition has made this an excellent material for corrosion resistance thereby improving the final composition where the material is used in the matrix. The attack of metal melts and slags is substantially improved by its high resistance to CaO-FeO-SiO2 slags

90% Alumina Fines

  • An excellent replacement of Bauxite fines, BFA fines (castable grade) and a partial replacement of WTA/WFA fines
  • When used in place of Bauxite fines as well as BFA (castable grade) fines, it improves the matrix enormously, so can be used for Matrix Advantage System
  • A highly commercially-viable proposition to use this material - it can replace the entire matrix system of high Al-castables, Gunning masses, Ramming masses etc.
